Dr. Willis earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the West Virginia School of Dentistry in Morgantown. He is actively involved in the dental community and is a member of several esteemed organizations, including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry, American Academy of Clear Aligners (where he served on the Executive Committee), Virginia Dental Association, Shenandoah Valley Dental Association, and the Academy of Laser Dentistry. A firm believer in giving back, Dr. Willis attributes much of his success to the support of his community. He is dedicated to showing his appreciation through charitable contributions and community involvement. Over the years, Dr. Willis has supported organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Young Life Christian Organization. He has also invested in local education, donating to schools like Brownsville Elementary, reflecting his commitment to fostering a strong, healthy, and educated community.

Dr. James A. Pollard, DDS, is a highly experienced and dedicated dentist serving the Lynchburg community for over four decades. Born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia, Dr. Pollard has an extensive background in both general and implant dentistry. He completed his BA in Chemistry at the University of Virginia in 1968 before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry in 1972. Dr. Pollard's professional journey includes serving in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps from 1972 to 1975, where he honed his skills in diverse dental procedures. Following his service, he established his private practice in Onancock, Virginia, in 1975, later relocating to Lynchburg, where he has been providing comprehensive dental care since 1978. Dr. Pollard is a proud member of various prestigious dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Lynchburg Dental Society. He holds the titles of Associate Fellow with the American Association of Implant Dentistry and Fellow with the International Congress of Oral Implantology, showcasing his dedication to advancing dental care. Dr. Pollard's commitment to continuing education is evident in his completion of the Maxi-Course in Implant Dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia from 2002 to 2003. He is also a graduate of the United States Dental Institute’s orthodontic program and the L.D. Pankey Institute, which reflects his pursuit of excellence in providing comprehensive dental services to his patients. With a history of teaching as an adjunct professor at the Medical College of Virginia, Dr. Pollard is not only a practitioner but also a mentor to future generations of dentists. To Dr. Jihoon Kim, dentistry is not just drilling and filling, but the perfect blend of art and science. Although he loves many facets of dentistry, Dr. Kim most enjoys getting to know his patients. To him, the heart of patient care is taking a personalized approach because each patient and their smile is special. Whether a patient’s concern is cosmetic, restorative, or a dental emergency, Dr. Kim creates a genuine connection with his patients and provides them with the excellent, individualized care they need.  Dr. Kim pursued his undergraduate career at Utah Valley University where he graduated with Summa cum laude in Biology. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis where he participated in various advanced coursed including periodontics and prosthodontics. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Kim completed his General Practice Residency at Providence Sacred Heart Children's Hospital, where provided different aspects of dentistry including hospital dentistry, emergency, sedation and implantology to severely medically compromised patients. ​ Dr. Kim is fully committed to his patients’ smiles, and that means keeping his mind and skills sharp! It is his firm belief that to be the best in the dental industry, you have to take a lifelong approach to learning and education. Each year, he takes many advanced courses to enhance his skills and stay at the top of the dentistry field. This enables him to serve his patients’ unique dental care needs quickly and expertly, providing them with a gentle and comfortable experience every time. No matter his patients’ concerns—emergency, restorative, or cosmetic— Dr.Kim ensures their trust is always in the best hands possible. Outside of Dentistry, Dr. Kim enjoys playing basketball and spending time with friends and families.
